With the publication of a legal safeguarding measure, the “Zona di Pianificazione”, itself following a democratic popular initiative that has beaten all ratification records, the speculative real estate project promoted by Augur Invest AG<\/a> \/ Aedartis AG<\/a> in Monte Br\u00e8 sopra Locarno is officially dead: that is the gist of the announcement by the (German-speaking) Swiss public television on October 17th, 2019.<\/p>\n

Even though the promoters themselves might still be in denial (is it to reassure ignorant prospective investors?), the population of Monte Br\u00e8, Cardada, and the greater Locarno region can breathe in relief that such barbarism will not invade their mountain. The illiterate, barbaric and unproductive clients targeted by such a “resort” can stay in the third-world.<\/p>\n
